Built because we lived it
TendKin started with a simple observation: family caregiving is one of the most difficult coordination problems in modern life — and almost no one is helping families do it well.
Every day, adult children across the country quietly absorb the full weight of caring for aging parents — while siblings watch from the sidelines, visit occasionally, or simply disappear. It's not always malice. Often, it's confusion about what to do, fear of getting it wrong, or simply not seeing the invisible labor that's happening every day.
The result is predictable: resentment builds slowly, then explodes. Families that have functioned for decades fracture over a caregiving conflict. Siblings stop speaking. Estates become battlegrounds. The person who did the most ends up the most alone.
We built TendKin to interrupt this pattern — before it becomes permanent.

What TendKin is — and isn't
A care coordination platform
TendKin helps families organize tasks, track medications, share documents, and coordinate care logistics.
Not a mental health service
Our private check-ins are coaching and coordination tools — not therapy. We encourage anyone who needs mental health support to see a licensed professional.
Genuinely private
Your private check-ins are not shared with family members. We don't use your conversations to build advertising profiles.
